  • To develop an awareness of the ways in which we react to stress from an Ayurvedic perspective: According to Ayurveda, there are three primary constitutions/blueprints that reflects who we are and how we react to stress. A brief description of each constitution will be given as well as their respective reactions to stress. This will enable the participant to develop a deeper awareness of how they react to stress.

  • To develop stress management skills and healthy lifestyle practices: Stress management techniques will be practiced and healthy lifestyle tips will be discussed.

    Exercises include:

    • Deep breathing for the immediate relief of stress
    • The practice of a breathing technique to induce sleep
    • Humming for the relief of anxiety
    • Self-massage to alleviate stress and raise energy levels
